Brian Kurzmann

While still working at Clifford Chance in Germany, Brian Kurzmann had passed the New York Bar on his first attempt. After returning to the U.S. and settling in New York City – itself a challenge – Brian joined the relatively new law firm of Axiom Legal (now known as Axiom Global). This innovative law firm seemed to Brian to be a perfect fit. In his previous position at Clifford Chance, Brian Kurzmann had been stationed in Germany, handling matters with native speakers and navigating laws as they applied to cross-border activities. But despite enjoying the international aspects of his work, Brian felt a bit like a fish out of water in a traditional law firm environment.

After having been overseas for five consecutive years, Brian felt it was time to return to the U.S. and pursue a new challenge. Brian came across Axiom, which had been founded only a few years earlier, and felt at home with this new firm from day one. He felt perfectly aligned with Axiom’s focus on doing legal work efficiently while providing the highest possible level of service to clients. Since joining Axiom, Brian has been given one high profile assignment after another and has been able to focus his career more and more on technology and intellectual property matters.
