Crosby Wood
Like many people all around the world, Crosby Wood enjoys playing polo. This is a game of speed, where players chase a small ball and hit it with a mallet. While this game has traditionally been played by people riding horses, Crosby Wood enjoys playing the game while riding a bicycle. Finding other teams to play the sport can be a bit of a challenge, however. If Crosby Wood enjoyed playing basketball, for example, he could simply look up any number of community teams and start a game. Since he enjoys a more unique sport, however, Crosby Wood must sometimes travel to compete.
Crosby Wood heads to Ireland periodically to compete in tournaments. He’s participated in the Bicycle Polo European Championship several times. This tournament is held in a picturesque part of Ireland each year, and teams come from all around Europe to play. This is a great way for Crosby Wood to test his skills, and learn new techniques from his European counterparts.
